How long have you been skating/playing derby?
I fell in love with skating at a very young age, and have stuck to it. I dabbled with speed skating at one time, but mostly recreational. I just joined the derby world in January. It is my new obsession.
When you aren’t on the track, what other hobbies or sports do you enjoy?
I enjoy watching my kids in whatever they are doing at the moment; I enjoy playing in the yard with my dogs, riding our horse. I love to ride motorcycles.
What is your weirdest talent? (Derby doesn’t count. It’s not weird.)
I can blow bubbles, without bubbles.
Which celebrity would you like block into the wall?
Michael Vick , what he did was unforgivable.
Do you have Tattoos?
I have quite a few. Some are visible, some are not. ;)
What non-skate related item would I find in the bottom of your skate bag right now? Wrinkle releaser, I have no idea why.
What is the weirdest place you have skated at/through?
Tiffany banquet center, during the all male review.
Do you have any pets?
2 Great Danes, 1 Bulldogge, 1 Chihuahua, and a kitty
Do you think your significant other would be able to make it through a jam?
Maybe, he’s working on it.
Do you have a favorite quote?
This too shall pass. Nothing lasts forever.. not even tattoos.
Are you a Derby mama? (Do you have kids) What do your kids think about derby? When they cheer for you, do they use your real name, your derby name, or something else?
I have 2 sons and a step daughter. They are very supportive of the sport.. they call me MOM. ( that’s my favorite name)
Did the helmet come with the sport or did you always wear one?
Only when I am on my motorcycle. Helmets save lives.
What color mouth guard do you like best?
I prefer my black one, but my mommy gets upset because it makes me look like I have no teeth. So, I bought a blue one.
Tell us a story of your favorite derby moment:
My 105 game versus CORD. We lost by nine, but it was one hell of a game.
Do you have a sponsor?
no, but I could use one, this sport aint cheap!
That's my girl. She is awesome at everything she does. Full throttle all the way. She road dirt bikes with her dad since she was eight months old,(tied on to him with a strap, against my wishes) and now owns her own Harley. Has 2 wonderful boys and a beautiful stepdaughter that are involved in many, many things. Let's not forget her significant other, for without him all this might not have been possible. She has always been dedicated in all she does. Always giving her best. I am so blessed to have her as my daughter. The world is a better place having her in it. Ask any friends, relative or misplaced animal of any kind. She has two loving brothers and sister who support her always. The four of them make me the most blessed person in the word.
